The Canons Regular of St. Augustine's Order at St. Florian

Who we are

The Canons Regular of St. Augustine's Order at St. Florian are a community of clergymen who have dedicated themselves to a long tradition of prayer, pastoral care and cultural cultivation.

They follow the Rule of St Augustine and live according to the ideal of community: "Let one be a support to another". Since their foundation in 1071, they have been working at St Florian's Monastery, where they dedicate themselves to the spiritual care of the faithful and the preservation of the cultural heritage.

Their daily life is characterised by the celebration of religious services, the musical tradition and educational work, through which they carry the spiritual and cultural values of the monastery into the world.
